Punjab State

The state of Punjab is state located in India. it is a part of greater Punjab region and the other part of Pakistan. the other parts of Pakistan region are in the state of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh (in India). Punjab state is bordered by Pakistani Punjab to the west, Jammu and Kashmir to the North, Himachal Pradesh to the northeast, Haryana, Chandigarh to the south and southeast, and Rajasthan the southwest. Chandigarh is the capital State of Punjab state. its total area is 50,362 km. Punjab state is a base on agriculture. Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala and Bathinda are the major cities of Punjab state.

Agriculture is the biggest industry of Punjab state. however, the major industries are specific goods, agricultural, sports and electrical goods, sewing machines, machinery, starch, bicycles, fertilizers etc., livelihood tourism and production of oil and minerals of Devdare. after the partition of India in 1947, the Punjab province of Indian was divided between India and Pakistan.

The Sikh sect give birth to the religious and social movement, whose main objective was eliminating the cruelty prevalent and religions and society. the 10th Guru Gobind Singh organize the United and the Sikh as the Khalsa Panth.   1. Makki ki routine sarson ka saag: – this is famous dish of Punjab state. This dish made from mustard leaves, that is why it is called “Sarson da saag”, and “Makki Roti” is made to eat with it. This dish is eaten with great taste not only in Punjab but also in other states.
  2. Butter chicken: – butter chicken is a popular dish of Punjab, and this dish was mostly like by Punjabi people it is eaten with the routine
  3. Chole Batture: – This dish is famous in Punjab state as well as in all other states of India. but the real taste of this dish comes from Punjab state only.
  4. Dal Makhani: – This is also a popular dish of Punjab. in this dish dal is cooked with a lot of spices along with desi ghee.
  5. Paratha: – In Punjab, parathas are made in pure Desi ghee. Aloo paratha, paneer paratha, cauliflower paratha are famous and delicious parathas here.
  6. Amritsari Fish: – It is popular in non veg.
